Sutton is home to the longest serving major local authority anywhere in the country- the LibDems have been in power here for the last 26 years! We also remain the largest Liberal Democrat local authority in the country.
Sutton also has two of London’s finest and hardest working MPs in Paul Burstow and Tom Brake. Paul is Minister for Health for the government and Tom is the co-chair of Liberal Democrat Backbench Committee on Home Affairs.
Liberal Youth actively engages with the mostly supportive people of Sutton and offers young activists the opportunity to work and campaign with the most successful Liberal Democrat branch in the country.
