Become a Community Champion for your area…

Community Champions Training Day

Sunday July 8th, Liberal Democrat HQ

We’re excited to announce a unique London Liberal Youth training program, designed to recruit and train 14 Young Leaders to become Community Champions in their area of London.

Do you have ideas about how your local area could be a better place? If you have the ambition and the leadership skills to run a campaign which will engage other young people in your area, then we want to help you…

14 young people will be selected to attend our training day at Lib Dem HQ on Sunday July 8th. Through a series of workshops with experienced campaigners we will equip you with the skills and resources you need to take your ideas, and turn them into an effective campaign you will then have the opportunity to run with the support of local Liberal Democrats in your local community.

To apply send us one page of A4 to londonregionalchair[at]liberalyouth.org telling us:

1) Your Story: tell us about your unique skills and passion, and why you will be an effective Young Leader.

2) Your Vision for your local area: tell us about your part of London – what’s great, and what you think could be better

3) Your Goals: what you hope to get out of the project, and what you will have achieved by the end of it
